The Creation Story

The Creation Story in the book of Genesis makes many outlandish claims such as: 

• God created the universe in six days
• God created man from dirt and breathed life into his clay-formed body
• Man came first and woman evolved from one of his ribs
• The woman talked to a snake who influenced her to eat forbidden fruit
• The woman influenced the man to eat forbidden fruit
• Sin and death entered the world because of the man and woman eating forbidden fruit

To a sane, rational and reasonable person the above claims sound like the making of a good fairytale.  Let's examine the creation story.
