Lake Lanier is located in Georgia near the city of Cumming in Forsyth County. The sight of horrific racial events in 1912 that resulted in an unjust lynching and thousands of black residents being forced out of their homes that were later flooded by a dam to create the lake. It now has been plagued by hundreds of mysterious drownings and ghostly spectors, one known colloquially as the Lady of the Lake. Tonight we discuss the tragic racist history, the current deaths and supposed hauntings.
