(Audio) 2023 Friend’s Festival: Cornhole & Music

North Platte Post News Director Canon Rath talked with Rebecca Steward about the upcoming cornhole tournament and live music event going on during the 2023 Friend's Festival in Gothenburg.

GOTHENBURG, NEB. - The 2023 Friend's Festival is quickly approaching for the community of Gothenburg as they get ready to host folks from around the state. The event, which quicks off September 13th and runs through September 17th has something for everyone to enjoy. On Saturday, September 16th, there will be a cornhole tournament, beer garden, and live music.

The cornhole tournament is 21+ to participate due to the beer garden. There will also be a burger meal fundraiser run by the Gothenburg Volunteer Fire Department. Performing during the tournament will be the Kyle Sayler Band which won the 2023 Nebraska State Fair Battle of the Bands and opened for county artist Lee Brice.
