The Adamsons are back with Issue 38 of the monthly magazine podcast for the discerning film nerd. This part one of three, Double Reel Monthly, with news, a look at new releases, reviews of new films we've watched and the compelling and incredibly complicated Penalty Shootout Film Quiz. We also check in on our film resolutions for 2023, in which we each watch a selection of films as part of annual projects. For James (no the other one) it's Legal Age of Consent, where he watches a Nic Cage film picked at random. For James (no that one) it's The Cronenberg Institute, which this month features 2007's Eastern Promises.
