The Billygoats won a 5-4 thriller in 11 innings over the Express in Litchfield in Buckman's first game of the Tournament. Buckman took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd on an rbi single by Matt Kummet, then made it 3-0 in the 4th on a sacrifice fly by Aaron Weber and another rbi single by Kummet to make it 3-0. Kimball rallied with 2 in the 6th and then tied it 3-3 in the 7th. With the score still tied going to the 10th, Kimball took a 4-3 lead on an rbi single from Ben Johnson. In the bottom of the 10th, Buckman's Noah Boser led off the inning by crushing a game-tying Homer to dead center field to make it 4-4. In the bottom of the 11th, Jack Suska doubled into the right field corner with 2 outs, and then Noah Boser did it again, singling to right to score Suska and give the Billygoats a 5-4 walk-off win in 11 innings. Drew Beier threw the final 5 innings to pick up the Win for Buckman.
