Grant Amato's life was full of privilege, maybe a little too full. Following in his older brother's footsteps he had become a successful nurse and was in graduate school to further his career as a nurse anesthetist. In a series of grave errors that led to his family's destruction, he first took it upon himself to illegally administer medication to patients. After being fired from his nursing job, he then failed out of graduate school and quickly developed an addiction.
