San Francisco police say there is a 97% decline in traffic citations over the past eight years. Part of the reason - a police staffing shortage. There are 600 officers needed and the traffic division staff numbers are at an “all-time low.” In addition, pandemic conditions meant fewer vehicles on San Francisco roadways.
Autoworkers in one town are calling a new battery factory a spit in their faces. It would seem that another place to work wound be a positive thing, but electric vehicles don’t take as many hours to make and a shift in the type of cars we buy is seen as a downgrade in work.
Giant Einstein heads are watching over the DreamForce convention in SF. They came at quite the cost.
