Okay. I know I am going to ruffle some feathers with this one. It's okay- because we are all allowed to have our opinions! This episode has been on my heart for a while. As Christians, we tend to hold our tongue when it comes to some of the themes or phrases of the world. The phrase "it's just my truth" has been floating around for a really long time now, and it urks me when I hear it. First- by definition, truth is rooted in facts, not opinions or preferences. Second, it applies to all. In reality, it is important that we know where we stand with issues like this. We need to understand WHY it urks us or we have an issue with it. We need to know what our issue is AND how to stand up (in love) against things we do not believe in. So listen in, form your opinion, and start to pay attention to things that get under your skin and why!
