Alex is not impressed, except we would take Hilaire. Biggest concern is they dink-dink-dink down the field and get a couple of good catches from Hilaire or their Washington transfer. Defensively they're climbing out of a huge hole—Steve Morrison is on hand and has installed something like the 1990s Michigan defense, but they do not have the players yet, especially at boundary safety.

Seth likes all the DTs and Derrick Moore. JJ McCarthy is incredible. What's up with the running game? Don't get it unless there's something off-field with Trente Jones, and Henderson is picking up a new offense. Barnhart is whiffing on linebackers. Hinton isn't made for stretch, although he didn't have 7 pass pro minuses this week. You can see why they want him to become Runyan Jr. but he's got a long way to go.

About the Featured Musician: Jesse ClaytonThis year we are partnering with The Blind Pig for bumper music, since that's where I've seen most of the bands I've been pushing anyways.
Jesse Clayton is a Michigan artist, member of legendary Ann Arbor band The Macpodz, and a hometown favorite who's since made it big as a music industry professional, from touring with members of Frank Zappa's band to scoring films. He'll be performing Future Gods on September 26th at the Blind Pig. I've been writing to Iridescence this week.
