For Siân Thomas, taking after her father in pursuing engineering may have seemed like a logical career choice – though she recognises that such opportunities are not open to everyone. She’s enjoyed a diverse career across construction, utilities, oil and gas, and now transport, which she is passionate about opening up to more female and diverse candidates.
