Declare God’s Power

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.

If you were given the opportunity to impart something meaningful to the next generation, what would you talk about? Well for David, a man after God’s own heart, he declared in the book of Psalms, “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who come.” Daniel also speaks of this and adds that God's Kingdom is eternal. On this side of eternity, we can only personally experience our one life. But God is everlasting. And if we've put our trust in Jesus, we will spend eternity with Him. And while we are here on this earth as "strangers in a foreign land," this is our opportunity to tell others of God's power and how He conquered sin and death.
