Coach Mike Garland Joins Us to Discuss MSU’s Bounce Back Win to Defeat Penn State 67-58

December 7, 2022: Michigan State got the game it needed from AJ Hoggard as he led the Spartans to a 67-58 win over Penn State in Happy Valley. Hoggard led the team in scoring with 23 points and 6 rebounds on 6-6 clutch free throw shooting and 1-2 from 3. Joey Hauser chipped in with 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Most impressive with the Spartans' defensive effort was limiting Penn State to only 9 three point attempts in the second half after giving up 7-18 shooting in the first. By the end of the second half, the Nittany Lions were left to try and catch up to MSU by going inside and away from their game.
