In a riveting turn of events in Days of our Lives, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O'Brien) is set to replace Jen Lilley in the role of Theresa Donovan. 

Gwen's last air date as Teresa was September 22nd, and her transition is expected to push Gwen's storyline to the back burner on DOOL. 

The recast is slated to appear on screens on Monday, September 9th, with a potential early glimpse on Friday, October 6th.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and their son, Tate Donovan (Jamie Martin Mann), are anticipated to return to Salem on the NBC soap opera with Teresa. 

Gwen's husband, Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte)
is likely to be the center of a major storyline as well, following a gunshot wound from Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) on the Peacock sudser. 

Meanwhile, Gwen confronts Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) for his infidelity, leading to a dramatic showdown.
