Sanctified Reason - Law vs Gospel & How to Apply them Properly

 Consider how Jesus declared the Law to certain people while offering the good news of the Gospel in other situations Jesus addressed self-righteous religious leaders, he employed the hammer of the Law since their hard hearts were unrepentant.  The Law was intended to break up the hard soil within their heart. After all, a Gospel seed cannot be planted in a hard heart. Yet in other situations like Nicodemus and the woman at the well Jesus talked to them about the Gospel message.
