Jameson was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is number two of five kids.
He spent his earlier childhood “way out south in the sticks” which is now called Sandy, Utah. It was there that he learned how to swim in his backyard pool, dressed up as underwear man, and learned that multiple small Dixie cups of lemonade can extinguish an accidental brush fire. He told admirers in the grocery store that he got his long eyelashes from Heavenly Father, “because he wanted me to look good,” and realized that a bucket thrown in anger can accidentally break your girlfriends nose. Sandy is also where little boy Jamey became Jameson.
Halfway through elementary school, Jameson’s family moved to the heart of Holladay, Utah to be closer to cousins. This is where his true love for sports was born. He got involved in Little League soccer, baseball, and football. He played for many coaches that deeply influenced his life. He still talks about these coaches and occasionally recites their most famous lines. This is also where he learned the art of nicknaming, as he became Rizzo Rice early on in little league football. Then a few years later Jammer was born.
Jammer attended Olympus high school, where he was involved in football, baseball, rugby, concert choir, graphic design, and pottery. He graduated high school in 1998, served a two-year LDS mission in Fortaleza, Brazil, and then attended the University of Utah where he earned his doctorate degree in pharmacy. So Jammer is now also known as your friendly neighborhood drug dealer, managing the Harmons Pharmacy, in the heart of Holladay.
This local drug dealer now lives in East Millcreek, Utah with his family. He loves being a dad, taking on projects, learning new skills, playing pickle ball, water and snow skiing, and going on mountaineering and canyoneering adventure’s with friends. His latest passion is coaching his son, Gordon’s mountain biking group. He loves living in Utah with the four seasons, and takes full advantage of the various activities that each season brings.
Anyone who knows him would know that Jameson has an intense passion for University of Utah football that has been ingrained in him since birth.
Jameson lives by the motto, work hard and play hard.
