Days of our Lives is stirring up excitement with Susan Banks' (Stacy Haiduk) resurrection and the subsequent advantage it provides for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). 

In the coming weeks, Susan will depart Salem, leaving a significant impact on Xander's life. The survival of Susan Banks not only relieves Xander from EJ DiMera's (Dan Feuerriegel) vengeful pursuits but also softens Sarah Horton's (Linsey Godfrey) perspective on Xander's misdeeds on the peacock sudser. 

Most beneficial for Xander, Susan's survival enhances his chances in a custody battle over his daughter, Victoria Margaret. Xander's choice of representation, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), is expected to cause tension between Sloan and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), her lover.
