Learning to ask for help has somehow become a sign of weakness when it comes to motherhood. We used to rely on our community, our supports, our villages, to help us ease into this new role and find our footing. With the development of social media and more and more moms "flexing" about "doing it all" themselves, it has created the illusion that if we ask for help, we are incapable of being a good mom...when quite the opposite is true. The hardest part about asking for help is actually ASKING for help. The second part of that challenge is being open to receiving the help in the form that it comes. Tune into this discussion about normalizing how difficult that can be for most moms, and how to position yourself to receive all of the help you need.
