It is a Pathfinder adventure path from 1st edition which we will be converting into Pathfinder 2nd Edition. We last left off our heroes talking to the Dragon-Scarred Dwarf Skeleton, who seemed to just want our help, but something seemed to be preventing them from conversing completely. The party comes to discover that the Dragon-Scarred is being held by a contract to the Lich Avardes, an very evil creature, that has bound this Dwarves soul into a contract that is actually written on the skeleton's very bones. Sortok tried to bring a magical candel from the previous room to help purge the evil of the contract, and while it probebly helped, the combination of Holy and Unholy magic caused a detonation of magical energies, as well as start a battle and end the diplotatic encounter with a gout of holy fire.
With a seemingly good conversation ended with a holy explosion, Henny, and Sir Ren try to separate this evil from the helpless soul, but will their attempts be in vain?
