America gets a new pest. This beachy sand fly bites & carries a flesh eating parasite! - 10-20-23

An unwanted and gruesome insect is turning up at beaches along our southern border. This sand fly often carries a flesh eating parasite. Once it starts munching down, there’s a no cure. At the very least it can cause scarring at the very worst death! 

Wait…this is no party story! 

A Stanford researcher has come to the conclusion that human beings do not have free will. After more than 40 years, studying the topic, neurobiologist Robert Sapolsky says virtually all human behavior is as far beyond our conscious control as the convulsions of a seizure, the division of cells or the beating of our hearts. What does that mean for the things we do seem to decide for ourselves? We might need some Tenuta Vineyards wine for this discussion. 

Jelly Belly in Fairfield is being sold! Chicago-based Ferrara Candy Company, makers of Sweetarts and Butterfingers, expects the sale to close by the end the the year. There is no indication that the Jelly Belly Factory and Visitor Center in Fairfield would be at risk, but stay tuned.
