Very soon we will be covering the formulas for the highest operating state there is: the top of the scale of conditions, POWER.  But this is a good place to cover a fundamental that applies to POWER in particular and has considerable application to ALL the conditions and their formulas.  You can know and apply your formulas pretty well and still have a miss if you skip this important lesson, ESPECIALLY when we are talking about POWER.
