Using Marketing Technology and the Internet to Spread the Word—Digital Ministry Helps Bring People to Christ
In this week’s podcast (free and you don’t need to download), Shelly and I sat down for a special interview about using digital marketing to spread the Gospel, how to do your own digital ministry, and how you can help volunteer.
We spoke with Mark Appleton, the Vice President of Internet Evangelism for the Billy Graham Association.
Their website, SearchforJesus.net, uses digital strategies to share the Gospel and guide people in the first steps of faith, leading them to the local Christian community— Over 1400 volunteers help the ministry daily around the world in 8 languages.
As a marketing expert, I was impressed with how Mark uses “digital” evangelism to help bring people worldwide to know Jesus Christ.
Mark told us he uses Google ads, social media marketing, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), paid searches, and pre-roll video in order to attract not only people to Jesus but also bring in volunteers and people who want to serve their communities and start digital ministries.
Here are just a few of the topics we discuss during the podcast:
