Welcome to the Friday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill’. Representative Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has introduced Articles of Impeachment against Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas, for his obvious lack of performance. Over and over again he has stated under oath that the border is secure and all is well. Anyone paying attention will tell you it’s a disaster. It will be interesting to see what happens with this Impeachment effort. How many Republicans will defect and vote to keep him in office? How many Democrats will align themselves with those across the aisle who want to see him ‘gone’? This is a ‘privileged’ action which requires a swift vote on the part of the House. We should know the outcome by the beginning of next week. Then there’s the turmoil in the Middle East…and the war in the Ukraine…and so much more.
