The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings have Eric Forrester (John McCook) may be leaving the show due to an unnamed fatal illness. 

In recent episodes, Eric's health has been a concern with the character having less than six months to live. 

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), the oldest son, is the only child currently in Los Angeles, but it is Thorne Forrester, played by Winsor Harmon, and Bridget Forrester, portrayed by Ashley Jones, who are set to make their comebacks. 

The returns are slated for December 7, sparking speculation that these could be pivotal scenes leading to Eric's death and McCook's departure. Despite hopes for a miracle cure or a misdiagnosis revelation, there are no spoilers indicating such a turn of events on the CBS soap opera. 

Fans are musing if Bridget, being a doctor, might be the one to save him. However, the return of Eric's children, coupled with McCook not having a three-year contract renewal, hint at a potential farewell to the beloved character.
