There’s some good news today for consumers with economic forecasts showing falling inflation in Ireland and the rest of the euro area. The European Commission today presented its Autumn 2023 economic forecast.
Its figures for Ireland show inflation reducing from a high of 8.1% in 2022 to 2.1% in 2025. Speaking this morning, the European Economy Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni outlined the inflation forecasts for the euro area.
