Kumar is a thought leader in Small Business Transformation with 17 years of experience in transforming the operations of diverse organizations around the world. He is the author of “The Sustainable Entrepreneur: How to Build a Profitable Business and Save the Planet” and has published articles in trade journals including the CEO World, All Business, and other global research publications. He speaks at business organizations and conferences related to small business transformation and sustainable operations management. Kumar is an invited member of the Forbes Business Council and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
Kumar serves as the President at Footsteps LLC, a last mile delivery company in the Bay Area, CA. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Hollister Downtown Business Association and the Community Food Bank of San Benito County. Kumar is a frequent peer judge for industry organizations dedicated to management and business innovation, such as the Stevie Awards, Globee Business Innovation Awards, Disruptor Awards, Titan Awards, among others.
Kumar holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in sustainability and operations. He has certifications as a Six Sigma Green Belt, a Certified Scrum Master, and is also a professional executive coach.
