Established in 2013, Hui Hoʻoleimaluō has spent the past decade conducting long-term historical, cultural, physical, natural, and scientific studies of fishponds in Keaukaha, including Honokea Loko, Waiuli, and most recently at Kaumaui Loko. Today, Hui Ho‘oleimaluō is an active community hub that engages and teaches students and families through the brilliant culture of the ancient Hawaiian fishpond.
