Paul Cockshott, now retired, was a Reader at the University of Glasgow and is the author of numerous works on socialism and economic planning. We discussed how workers' control of the means of production gradually moved outside the imagination of the organised Left and how capitalism itself leads us to question how we might move beyond it.
