Entrepreneurial Mental Health in practise - Mark O’Neill and Moayed Hamza of HAON Life Science
We are delighted to have Mark O’Neill and Dr Moayed Hamza of HAON Life Sciences as our guests on the Podcast. HAON is a company that is developing a novel cell therapy for new born brain injury, a very exciting technology that promises to change new born brain injury in a radical way.
Mark and Moayed talk about how HAON is developing and where the product is on its Clinical Path. We delve deeply into the Entrepreneurial mindset and what it means to be an entrepreneur. We discuss how to work together as a team, how to complement each other and how to handle disagreements.
We also cover how to manage Mental Health as business people and as family people, each of our guests having young children. We discuss the importance of having life balance and physical exercise.
The conversation turns to how to deal with third parties in the Entrepreneurial journey, how do you assess and handle feedback, and to differentiate as to what feedback is relevant and what isn’t. We also talk about the phenomenon of “Irish Culture” feedback and what that means in practise!
This is a great Podcast for anyone considering becoming an Entrepreneur and what it means to their mental health and how they can manage it.
Finally we finish out on a song that’s new to me but is very upbeat and hopeful and very appropriate.

The Coffee with your Therapist Podcast is sponsored by Myndgard Mental Health tracking and management. We help Psychotherapists and their Clients by enabling the Clients to develop an understanding of their Mental Health while waiting to enter Therapy. We are particularly focused on young people and University aged people and we would be very interested in talking to Clinics and Services who address this sector.
The benefits to the Therapist is that when their Client enters therapy you will already have a deep background profile of how the Client perceives their own Mental Health.
The benefit for the Client is that they receive encouraging and supportive feedback while they are waiting to start Therapy.
