Martin excused himself, briefly, to quietly tell the fallen raider in the woods that he was giving the man his best second chance by not telling the crazed man with the machete that he was there. Martin delivered the stark gospel that the raider was likely to die that night of hypothermia. His going to heaven or hell was his own choice. After getting Trevor rigged into a stretcher between Peaches and Jasmine, the group headed to a Christian camp at the foot of Mount Mondadnock. There, Trevor found some medical help. But, the day was spent. Would Martin get to the rendezvous island by noon the next day?
