Originally released February 14, 2022. Prior to the Civil War, the United States Army experimented with using Camels to transport cargo through the American West. The Camel Corps program would have been considered largely successful if it weren't for the war. In this episode, we tell the story about how the camels were acquired, tested and the unlikely person who spearheaded the endeavor.
