NORTH PLATTE - With December starting to roll through, the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign is off to a strong start for this year's campaign. This week, Habitat for Humanity and the North Platte Rotary club are doing a match day with the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army is anywhere between 30-32% of their goal for the end of the campaign. This Friday will be the community dinner. The free event is open to everyone who wants to enjoy a meal with the community. Turkey, mash potatoes are just a few of the items that will be available.
