Maxine Ashley talks Somebody Else, Pharrell's advice, & more on "Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max"

Thank you to the Bronx, New York's own Maxine Ashley for coming on my show for an interview! Maxine discussed her new single Somebody Else, the story behind the record, and her upcoming single Maxine that is releasing soon. She talked about the music industry ruining music, winning a Grammy and not receiving the actual award, and performing at Madison Square Garden. She got into her parents being very supportive of her career from the start, wanting to get back into acting, and modeling for Pat McGrath. Maxine also spoke about Pharrell's important advice he gave her, hearing her song Somebody Else for the first time on the radio, and wanting to sign artists someday. Stay tuned!
