Frampton vs Santa Cruz II, Vargas vs Berchelt Preview

If there were one weekend in January that fight fans don't want to miss out on, this one would be it. On Showtime, Carl Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz meet to run back one of the best fights of 2016. It was exceedingly fun the first time and their respective styles suggest it would be anytime they get together. Even the support bout has potential, with Dejan Zlaticanin facing a Mikey Garcia who continues his comeback after two years off. Then on HBO, all-action Mexico native Francisco Vargas takes on Miguel Berchelt. Vargas has to be one of the most exciting fighters in boxing right now. Another thrilling fighter, Takashi Miura, faces off against Mickey Roman in the co-feature.
