The David Spoon Experience 1-26-24 part 2

1) The first one is titled "Choose Now". What can that possibly mean other than we have to choose? The question is, what is it that we're choosing? Every time we make a decision, we have to choose for one kingdom or another. But oftentimes, we rarely consider the kingdom implications. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus challenges the religious leaders to make a declaration about their choices. Were those choices geared towards heaven or towards earth, towards spirit or towards flesh, towards now or towards eternity?
2) This next DVD is tremendously ferocious. The real question is, can everything we go through, the ups and the downs, the frustrations and the victories, the successes and the failures, be from God? Can everything we go through be part of God's plan for us to grow up in Jesus? Does he really have that much control? Your answer to that question conveys your understanding of truth.
3) We take a few extra moments in today's show to acknowledge our great friend Pastor Ray, who's again dancing on the streets of gold. Sometimes I read his devotions, and they just encourage me to draw closer to the Lord. Sometimes, I read his devotions, and they just make me want to go to heaven. Ray talks about where life begins.
