This year I am on a mission to really learn my body, understand what I'm putting into it and how it affects my weight, my overall health and also how to start building more muscle because the older you get, the more important muscle becomes. I started looking into those things that I'm sure you've heard of macros. As a busy working mom, the idea of tracking what I eat and having to do anything with math, or that requires me to think any more than I already have to do on a daily basis is a major turnoff, but with the right tools in place and a little education on the topic, it really makes it a lot less intimidating. So this week, I brought in my friend and qualified macro and meal planning coach, Verona Angol, to teach us the basics about macros.
