In this episode, my guests are David Kingham, the owner of the Nature Photographers Network and Exploring Exposure and Cody Schultz, editor of Nature Vision magazine.

We cover what the community and magazine are about, how you can contribute to both and how you could benefit from the constructive criticism which is a feature of the community. 

Both reveal how experiencing nature has enriched their lives and has allowed them to express their individual creativity. Cody shares how photography has helped him address mental health issues, while David touches on his transition from astro to landscape photography and the challenges he encountered. 

We talk about their approach to photography, which involves capturing their personal experiences in nature more than striving for an 'epic shot'. A key theme resonates through the conversation: the value of personal expression and enjoyment of nature, making art that matters to you, and the vitality of honesty in one's work.
