Charlie Chaplin is acknowledged as one of our greatest comic-actors. He died in 1977. However, he seemed to have a prediction for younger girls, marrying one aged 16. (He was 35 at the time, having met her she was 8) Whilst no law was broken, what attracted him to teenage girls half his age? Hollywood has an unsavoury reputation and I suggest this goes back to the very beginning. What exactly was Charlie Chaplin?
