Our guest today is Katelyn Dynneson a young rancher from Sidney, MT. We talk about the future of agriculture in Eastern Montana. A little background. The future of agriculture and rural communities in Eastern Montana is up in the air. Conservationists, agriculturists, Army Corps of Engineers and others are seeking to build a new bypass channel on the Yellowstone River to help preserve the endangered Pallid Sturgeon and ensure irrigation and municipal water sources remain. The Defenders of Wildlife say the plan won't work and have tied up the project in court. Katelyn shares her experience of a recent Summary Judgment Hearing on the impact the court may or may not have on her way of life.
