Days of our Lives detective Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) faces a life-threatening situation. The NBC Peacock soap opera, known for its dramatic turns, sees Michaels shot at the loading docks.

That leaves viewers in suspense about his fate. In a race against time, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) calls Tripp (Lucas Adams) for help while Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) dials 911. 

Despite the quick response and life-saving attempts by Tripp, Harris's condition looks dire. As the storyline unfolds, the focus shifts to Clyde Weston (James Read) who is suspected of orchestrating the shooting amidst his collapsing drug operation on DOOL. 

The suspense builds as Harris remains unconscious, leaving Ava and the rest of Salem in a tense wait. Meanwhile, questions swirl around the identity of the shooter and whether Harris, a minor yet significant character from the late eighties, will survive. 

Burton's expected departure from the show adds an extra layer to the suspense, keeping viewers glued to their screens for the unfolding drama on Days of our Lives.
