About Dr Esther Fox:
Dr Esther Fox PhD MCSP | Chartered Physiotherapist | Clinical Pilates Teacher | ‘From Pain to Performance using Movement as Medicine’
Dr Esther Fox, is a Chartered Physiotherapist, trained in Clinical Pilates. She has developed a system of Pilates based exercises that you can follow on a daily basis, based on her 20 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist teaching rehabilitation, Pilates and Yoga.
She started working in the Physiotherapy Department of East Surrey Hospital in 2003. After seeing the impact of exercise, was so motivated by exercise therapy that she completed a PhD whilst working as a Research Fellow.
She has published peer review articles and spoken at International Medical Conferences about Exercise Therapy.
Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist she has worked in many hospitals, clinics and GP surgeries. Setting up ‘Mount Kelly Physio’ in Devon where she is still the Director and Clinical Lead.
Esther is trained in Pilates, Clinical Pilates, Yoga and Acupuncture. Her passions are horses (owning two ex-racehorses), dogs, supporting British farming and lives on Dartmoor.
She unapologetically promotes that exercise is absolutely essential for everyone and tells people to keep walking no matter what! She is dedicated to her own Pilates practice!
