Doom Metal really began as Black Sabbath released their self-titled debut album on February 13th, 1970. Unto The Earth (from Naperville and Aurora) like Sabbath combines extensive instrumental intros and jams with morbid lyrics of horse-riding witches who burn victims at the stake and judgement day. Singer and bassist Simeon Papacostas and guitarist Michael Yoseida join me, as they co headline with Black Road and Pale Horseman, March 2nd at Soundgrowler Brewing in Tinley Park.
