Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Suren Thuraisingham - Indians Are at the Highest Risk of Heart Diseases
This health-related podcast, like my earlier one on cancer with Dr Teo Soo Hwang (see link below) is also a personal one, as I have lost a number of friends and close acquaintances to heart disease in recent months.
In some cases, the deaths were shocking, since they happened to seemingly healthy, fit and well-adjusted people. Not at all – at least superficially – that fell within the definition of ‘high-risk’.
I resolved to attempt to better understand the Whys and Wherefores of heart disease, which meant there was only one person I could speak with: Dr. Suren Thuraisingham, an old family friend from back home in Penang.
Dr. Thuraisingham is a very experienced and highly respected cardiologist, having practised medicine in this field since 1990. He very kindly agreed to answer my questions about why even young and seemingly healthy people are dropping dead from heart attacks, among a whole host of related issues, including whether a link exists between Covid vaccinations and heart diseases.
(Dr. Thuraisingham is a Consultant Cardiologist at CVSKL (Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur), an integrated cardiac and vascular hospital in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. He has been a practicing cardiologist since 1990.)
