1) Have you ever spent time searching for something specific? You look everywhere, maybe for a car, a great deal on clothes, or perhaps new tech like a computer or phone. It's like a search party. Similarly, God is on a search party, looking all over the Earth for those who are fully committed to Him. He wants to give them a gift, but only those who are fully committed will receive it.
2) What is God without a Hollywood production? That's how the world often perceives Him. But it's not just about Hollywood. Do you think that only this generation needs sparklers, rainbows, Skittles, stage lights, scripts, directors, and a grand production? Let me help you understand that you're about 2600 years behind the curve. Back in the Old Testament, when people expected God to act, they anticipated nothing short of a brilliant show. But sometimes, the Lord prefers simplicity.
3) A proverb says, "The pathway to hell is paved with good intentions." The problem with this proverb is that good intentions matter to God. Good intent is an important part of a person's process, and God acknowledges every person's good intention. When David wanted to do something for the Lord out of a good heart and spirit, the Lord told him he couldn't do it because he wasn't the right man for the job. But God told him, "You have done well in wanting to do it." When you want to do something right for God, it counts in His heart and mind. So remember, the core does matter.
