This Sunday Pastor Tim continues The Two Scrolls series, looking at Luke 19:37-20:26.
SERMON QUESTIONS:
1. Because Jesus drove out the people selling in the temple, some conclude that nothing should ever be sold inside a church building. What are your thoughts on that? How would you draw boundaries between what is appropriate vs. inappropriate "marketing" in a church context?
2. Twice Jesus responds to trick questions with His own trick questions (Luke 20:1-8 and 20:21-26). Which of those exchanges do you like best and why?
3. What does Jesus mean in referring to Himself as a rejected stone that becomes a cornerstone (Luke 20:17-18)?
4. Was there a time in your life where Jesus was a rejected stone? When and how did He become your cornerstone?
