1- I spent the better part of the first hour of the show discussing the modern meaning of the term "raicst" & "racism" in America in 2024. Centered around the question "what does it even mean to be called a racist nowadays? I explain the exact moment I think the world lost all of it's venom and very few people care if you call them a racist anymore. I introduce you all to the LT. Governor of North Carolina, Mark Robinson (a black Republican) who is who just won the Republican primary and will most likely be the next Governor of North Carolina. I'm still fired up after listening to a couple of his speeches, and you will be fired up too!!
2- I re-hash the Fani Willis verdict and use it make the exact example of what racism in America looks like in 2024.
3. There was another shootout on Ellis Ave. in Jackson, Ms over the weekend, but this time it appears that black citizens are getting fed up with it too. I read a post I snatched from the nextdoor app that perfectly sums up Jacksonians fears and frustrations and I answer a few of the posters questions about how Jackson got to this point.
4. A local female rapper filmed her newest video in broad daylight on Capitol st. in Jackson sometime here recently, of course that typically wouldn't be an issue till you see the video for yourself and realize that it's very similar to Sexxxy Redd's style of music and strip club shenanigans. I'm all for freedom of speech and scantily clad women, but there's a line in the sand that must be drawn for public decency.
