Do you feel like your back is weak? Have you been told you need to “strengthen your back?” I hear this a lot. The truth is this..we need to understand WHY your back is weak. Not all of the muscles in your back are weak. In fact, there are muscles in your back that aren’t weak- they are overactive. One muscle in particular actually affects your upper body pain and often contributes to shoulder pain. You can’t just go do a bunch of rows to try and strengthen. The body doesn’t work like this.
