1. I went to the St. Paddy's parade for the first time in over 10 years this past weekend in Jackson, Mississippi. I give my honest opinion on how I thought the city did hosting the parade, the things I saw that I liked and didn't like. I also tell the story about a guy on instagram being mad that I didn't report there were no murders in Jackson on Saturday and how ridiculous that is!!
2. The MHSAA (Mississippi High School Athletics Association) has been the fastest freshman one mile runner in the state for competing in a indoor track event in Boston (keep in mind Mississippi does not have a indoor running season). The kid will now have to sit out the entire season for the high crime of trying to be great at what he does. 4. BREAKING: Gov. Ron DeSantis has just signed a bill blocking kids from social media websites. House Bill 3 forbids kids 13 and younger from creating social media accounts and requires the platforms to seek out and remove their profiles.
5. Racial justice leaders are now demanding $15 billion from Boston and additional cash from "white churches"
6. Florida has a different approach: "If someone is breaking into your house, you're more than welcome to shoot. We prefer you to do that, actually."
