Thomas records the very first journal entry (or podcast episode) talking about his mental problems, and how he is starting to work on getting better by creating a list of things that he finds gives him joy. Trying to identify which items on the list comes from himself, and which are pushed onto him by expectations and norms. Slowly he realizes that it best to only focus on one or two items on the list, and see if it's possible to feel rather than think if its right to pursue.
