A) Jude then provides a historical lesson that many would do well to heed. He recounts how God delivered His people out of Egypt and how those who did not maintain their faith, stay in faith, or walk in faith were destroyed.
B) He escalates the narrative by explaining that this is what happened to the angels who did not keep their proper place but abandoned it. These angels were sentenced to eternal chains under darkness as their day of judgment drew closer. We call them demons. God will not spare humans, angels, or any other beings that abandon Him.
