Dr. Alexander Satin, a Board-Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at Texas Back Institute, graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University after earning a degree in Biophysics. He received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and served as co-president of his class. Dr. Satin completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Hofstra University-Northwell Health system in New York.
Following his residency, Dr. Satin completed a Spine Surgery fellowship at Texas Back Institute. Dr. Satin is committed to advancing the field of spine surgery and improving patient care. He is Co-Director of the Spine Surgery fellowship at Texas Back Institute. He has presented original research and been an invited lecturer at meetings throughout North America and Europe. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters.
Dr. Satin is an active member of North American Spine Society, Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and Cervical Spine Research Society. In his spare time, Dr. Satin enjoys traveling with his family, cooking, and golfing.
